“This song, this lyric, as personal and as observational as it is, requires a very specific intensity to convey the narrative. The visuals are no exception. They center around timelapse footage of various blooms opening, which seems innocuous enough. In partnership with these words, however, their individual roles as the “actors” in my little film represent a darker transformation aligned with the lyric, as well as, the texture of the music itself. As such, I have to admit, I know my chosen favorite.”
