Damn... they just keep leaving. Now, the one and only Gordon Lightfoot. A musician who was a huge part of my childhood soundtrack. An artist whose music I know for certain had subconsciously influenced my earliest understanding of song and artistry. His voice, his songwriting was - as it is with the best of the best - completely singular. His departure leaves a giant hole in the fabric of the singer-songwriter world, but he leaves us a beautiful musical legacy to continue to cherish, to study. Rest in power Mr. Lightfoot.
